Enterprize is an organisation run almost entirely by volunteers – apart from the Master, all crew on deck are there simply for the love of sailing.
Our many volunteers are from all walks of life - from doctors to mechanics and from riggers to archaeologists. They all share a common passion for Enterprize, its safe operation and delivering its unique experience to all who sail with them.
They spend many hours repairing, maintaining and cleaning the ship - a lot of time is also given to self training in the ‘art’ of tall ship sailing. Some go further and undertake marine training courses to qualify for Enterprize’s more ‘adventurous’ operations – such as voyaging in Bass Strait.
Whether your interest is sailing, costuming, maintenance or just the sheer romance of tall ships, we'd love to have you!
